Voluspaa – En tid tilbake
/ promo cd from Voluspaa

This was one of those amazing gifts that happen rarely. I met Freddy at Inferno fest this year, during this "speed meet & greet". We spent seven minutes with each person, be they promoters, bands, labels, ect. And talked to them about what each of us did. It was quite fun for the most part and a nice idea. I got to meet some great people and gathered up a nice stack of promo CDs. This is probably the best of all of them. Voluspaa is one man's idea of how Nordic black metal should be performed. It is so rich and full with amazing music, I want it to last for hours. And it is all one man! The vocals are amazing and include background chanting, the guitar work include acoustic melodies as well. The recording is crisp yet not overly so. There are six songs, just enough for a taste and a desire for more, much more.

Voluspaa - T.Å.E.M.E.N.
/ Sonic Death Armageddon

What En tid tilbake does for Viking metal, TÅEMEN does for grim, raw black metal. It’s basic and pure. The recording is good, not overdone or too low-fi. The best and most refreshing part of this recording is that most of the recording is done by one person. For anyone thinking about a solo project, this is
required listening.
